well just an update, got all of the windows in and started on the baseboards and casings. Looking at doing some stuff in the kitchen, more work for us. Have a wonderful surprise but cannot say anything just yet until further notice, keep checking in for updates in the near future.

short update

Well not much is new here, got 4 of 5 windows in and waiting for the last one to go in, need to wait until Darcy goes dayshift so he will be here to help out. Going camping tomorrow until Sunday night, I am dayshift on the Monday morning but Darcy and Kelsie will be staying until Monday possibly. Wayne and Mason are coming in to go camping with us also, someone else for Kelsie to play with. Hopefully nice enough to go in the boat and do some fishing. Hoping to go to Brandon on August long weekend to visit and help Mike and Ashley move and leave us all alone way up here.

update again

well found out more on our living room window today finally, it is back at Humphrey's where we purchased it. they have to take it completely apart and start rebuilding it and replacing what got smashed as they go along, but on the up note they figure it should hopefully get out in shipping next week or early into the next one. Brianna got accepted into Legion Athletic camp at the International Peace Gardens. We have to wait and see what week though. Sure she will enjoy herself and meet lots of new friends. Well as you can see I finally got a picture uploaded on to out blog page. Well gotta go fold some laundry and get ready for work as i am graveyards again tonight as everyone else here sleeps at home I will be slaving away with the bugs, and lack of sleep. well until next time later.

just a quick update

well we have been busy the last while. We have been camping every weekend, we got our bedroom furniture finally(we took a while to find what we wanted and we bought it with our presentation $ from the wedding), and we have got 4 out of the 5 new windows in and we are just in limbo for the 5th one, which is the living room one that got smashed by Gardwine when they dropped it last week before it left Wpg. Trying to get a garage sale in order but trying to find the time is the problem, with it being graveyard shift this weekend, Robin and Teri's get together the next wknd, and then down for the wedding and back here for July 1st so maybe the weekend after that is something to aim for.

Well better go get the girls off to school and me to bed with working all night I'm ready and our new bed is soooooooo comfy.

not too much

Hi there everyone, well since I was last on a couple of things have happened with our family. The first one is we have purchased a newer camper and are working on a seasonal lot. We are excited and can't wait to get our stuff into it, we bought it from Shannon and Veronica Dayson, and Veronica is coming in Sun or Mon to clean their stuff out of it then we can move our stuff in the girls have already spoken for the beds that they want, they think it is cool that they each have their own light and window in their bunks, and it will be nice to have a seperate bedroom for us. I also became a new auntie today. My brother and his wife had a son this morning and his name is quite a long one, Darion Larry Edward Alexander Kempthorne. He weighed 7lbs. and 9 oz. He is named after her dad, my dad and stepdad, and where Darion came from not too sure. So I am excited and hoping I can get down soon to see him, it is so hard living so far away with them living just outside of Steinbach and us here it is a good 8-9 hour drive.

well better get going I am taking Brianna and going to Flin Flon shopping and just before that I have to go down and see about the lot we have picked out at the falls to see if it is availible.

since Saturday

Well Mother's day went well, the girls and dad made mom breakfast in bed and then they brought me their gifts, first up was Kelsie she gave me a coffee cup filled with wine/purple carnations, then a paper purse that opens with a poem inside, and a magnet for the fridge with various coupons on it then Brianna gave me a box that looked like a book to store nick nacks in. They also both bought me a gift pack with lotion, shower gel and body mist in it, but mom accidentally found them while cleaning. Then I had a steak supper cooked for me. It was wonderful to not have to cook at all on Sunday. We got the itch and took the boat out for a ten minute spin, enough to get Darcy held over until next weekend when fishing season opens up.
Trying to rain here tonight, but nothing yet. Not much else is new, but Brianna fell off her bike and did a little flip, caught the tire on another bike. She ended up with a couple of small cuts on her hands, one on her one knee, but the other knee and elbow were pretty gashed up, nothing that some peroxide wouldn't cure but not without some screams. Going to be a new auntie on Friday, my brother and his wife are scheduled for a c-section on Friday sometime, she still has a couple of weeks before she is due but baby is breech and hasn't decided to turn yet, and has been like that for the last while so her doctor decided it would be best to bring baby out early since it is only 2 weeks early. So we are all excited as I only have a niece from them so another something will be nice.
Well guess I should go finish getting bandages on my girl and get lunches then off to bed as Darcy and I are still on the same shift, at least it is days for the next 2 weeks as next week is our shutdown optional to work we figured with the kids in school we might as well and save our holidays for the July shutdown which is following the long weekend, when Chris, Michelle and the girls will be here for a visit, except that we won't get to see them until sometime later Sunday when we get home from Robin and Teri's wedding in Riverton.

just updating

Not much else is new, just doing some yardwork that needs to get done up.
We, meaning Kelsie and I did the Grade 3 walkathon today, I got to cheat a bit as I came in to help get the food ready for the tired kids and parents when the walk was over but I walked to just past the mill road for those familiar with town here. Kelsie on the other hand had some problems with one of the girls that walked with her for the first 1/3 of the way in, and after that got straightened out she came in after 4 hours, considering that it seemed everyone was a bit later walking this year. And I was most proud of her when the other 2 girls she was walking with got in with a stranger that one of them flagged down, Kelsie said she would not get in with someone that she didn't know. So I was very proud of her and knowing that I instilled at least one positive thing in her and she would not get in with a stranger even though the other girl said it was ok that she knew who he was even though she could not remember her name. It made me proud to be her mother and everyone let her know how well she did not getting the vehicle.

Sore and tired we soaked in the tub and are just relaxing tonight, and dealing with our sunburns taken on during our walk even though it did not seem that hot out.

Not much else except that I am looking forward to staying in bed for a bit in the morning and then maybe for some insane reason the girls and I may just go for a walk together(didn't get enough today i guess)
